As Johnson & Johnson Innovation New Venture Lead Gideon is responsible for external engagement and innovation sourcing mainly for the Netherlands
Prior to this role, Gideon spent the last 11 years working within the Immunology Therapeutic Area in different medical affairs positions educating, communicating scientific information and working on multiple projects with a variety of stakeholders in the rheumatology, dermatology and gastroenterology space.
Ivan is an associate at Inkef Capital, he joined the fund in Jan '19 after receiving MBA degree from the INSEAD business school. Ivan holds a PhD in genetics and has 10 years of experience in applied and fundamental biological research, during this period he was also working with a Brazilian biotech startup. In 2015 Ivan joined Sanofi, where he was working in strategy and business development roles. He was also exposed to the digital health space thanks to his advisor role at Akeso, a startup working on the analysis of electronic medical records and Real World Evidence data.
Sandra joined the KBC Securities Biotech/Healthcare team in 2017 as an equity analyst covering Belgian, Dutch and French life sciences companies. She holds a Master in Biochemistry (KUL) and worked for 10 years as an academic scientist (PhD, post-doc) in several life sciences fields, as well as joining an immuno-oncology spin-off (iTeos; UCL & LICR). Sandra is an author of 18 scientific publications, an inventor on several patents and recently completed an MBA from Vlerick Management School.
Filip joined Sopartec in 2015, bringing in over 2 decades of commercial experience in developing assets, market access and due diligence in the field of life sciences both at small size and leading companies in the sector.
Prior to joining SOPARTEC/VIVES his focus was predominantly on market analysis and defence of brands, some of which had annual sales >$1bn.
Cosmin leads engagement activations for Johnson & Johnson Innovation, JLABS in Belgium and supports the broader EMEA region’s marketing, events and communications. Cosmin manages coordination of high-quality, diverse and distinctive programming ranging from one-on-one investor meetings, workshops to large panel series, networking, community and social events that serve JLABS and the broader EMEA entrepreneurial ecosystem.
